The Media Restoration Philosophy
Digital watermarks, automated synthetic badges, and camera timestamps frequently diminish the visual utility of images and video clips. Traditional watermark removal utilities often rely on aggressive, destructive blur filters that permanently damage underlying image textures.
Watermark Eraser was built on a different premise: mathematical reversibility. When a translucent logo is composited over an image, the underlying light and color information is not erased; it is mathematically blended. By calibrating against the exact alpha profile of the overlay, our AuraErase engine can systematically reverse the blend formula and restore the original scene with fidelity.
